Gabby had her two week check up last Monday. She already weighs 7lbs and has grown over an inch!! She has started to develop a huge pot belly, and the doctor said that's the only place she seems to have any fat! She had her first vaccine (Hepatitis B), and yes, it was more traumatizing for me than it was for her. Everyone told me that it would be hard to see the nurse stick your baby, so I had tried to prepare myself. Well, it was the first time she had a silent scream! She had HUGE tears flowing down her cheeks, and my heart absolutely broke. I tried to maintain composure, but I have to admit that I got a little teary eyed myself!
Tony gave Gabby her first bottle on Wednesday night, and she took it like a champ! Thank goodness! It was such a liberating feeling, knowing that now I can rely on Tony to help with some of the feedings. And I must admit, I am really looking forward to a margarita!!
