Gabby is TWO months old...and growing!

Gabby had her two month check up, and the good news is that she is growing!!  She weighed in at 9.4oz and is 21 inches long.  It is hard to believe that some woman give birth to babies that big!  She is in the 25th percentile for height and weight.  The doctor assured me that she was growing at an acceptable rate!  She was given four vaccines, and she took them like a champ.  She cried for a total of five seconds and then quickly fell asleep!

Tony and I have finally accepted that Gabby has brown eyes.  There were days that her eyes seemed to take on a greenish blue hue, but they are officially brown.  Our brown-eyed girl!

She is sleeping through the night on a regular basis now, so Tony and I are finally getting a full nights sleep again.  Most babies take many more months to grace their parents with a full nights sleep, so we constantly remind ourselves how blessed we are!

Gabby started daycare on Monday!  She will be going three days a week and her Aunt Angie will be helping out the other two days.  We chose a Lutheran church, Shepherd of the Hills, for her daycare.  We have also started going to church there on Sundays, and we decided that we will be baptizing her there as well!

It's hard to believe that our baby is already two months old.  At the same time, it's hard to believe that she is ONLY two months old.  She feels like such a part of our family already, like she has been with us for ages!
