Well, this is quite late! Gabby turned three months on August 2nd, but I just now got around to making her onesie and taking her picture. So, technically, she is 3.5 months!
It truly is amazing how fast she is growning! We made a big switch this month to formula! Gabby is sleeping through the night (usually 8 hours), and my milk supply dramatically dropped. Since she has been on formula, she has plumped up and affectionately goes by the name "chunky monkey"!
Tony is really enjoying her more these days. Gabby is smiling and "cooing", and he finally feels like he is connecting with her. Sometimes, I walk in on him teaching her the "ABC's". He makes a silly face for each letter so he can keep her attention. He also sings "GAB-RI-ELLA MA-RIE" to the tune of "Happy Birthday". It really is so sweet to watch him interact with her.
Gabby is loving her new school, Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran School. She has four teachers that float in and out, but the head teacher is Miss Jennifer. I just found out today that Miss Jennifer has a "favorite baby girl". That favorite is the one and only, Gabriella! Apparently, Gabby is quite fond of her, too. If Miss Jennifer is holding another baby, Gabby will glare at her and start to get fussy. So incredible that she can have such a personality at only three months. It warms my heart that they love my little baby at daycare. I truly feel so relieved that we have found such a wonderful daycare for Gabby! Miss Jennifer helps the babies with monthly artwork.
